Program Manager, Senior - Core and Small Group

Your Role
The Strategic Planning and Performance team supports the Core and Small Group Sales organization that manages all group business up to 2,999 members. The Program Manager, Senior - Core and Small Group will report to the Director of the Strategic Planning and Performance team. In this role you will work cross functionally to develop and drive business solutions and advocate for Core and Small Group across the enterprise. The Program Manager, Senior will identify and lead projects to implement strategic goals established in partnership with Senior Leaders.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Direct small-scale, complex programs/projects that may involve multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Manages the development and implementation of process of company's projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on delivery of new or existing internal/external programs and/or products
- Monitors the program from initiation through delivery and monitors for continuous improvement across projects within program
- Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of projects within the program are on schedule and within budget
- Determine key business issues, develop effective action plans, and implement to successful conclusion
- Have oversight and planning responsibilities for channel program management
- Actively participate and represent Core and Small Business as needed in support of Growth Markets capabilities and long term strategies
- Use creative and critical thinking to develop compelling content and presentations while addressing opportunities and issues around health plan of the future and client experiences
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires health insurance knowledge and experience; Self-Funded products preferred
- Requires knowledge in developing and implementing medium to large initiatives, leading organization development or process improvement programs
- Requires intermediate to advanced Project Management skills
- Technically proficient in tools such as PowerPoint and Tableau to develop compelling content and presentations for a diverse leadership team to present to Stakeholders required
- Must be proficient in Office 365 products
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $87,230.00 to $130,900.00 for California.

Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
