Our Internship Program
Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. What You'll Do
The SQLES Team is comprised of multiple scrum level teams working towards the same goal: to provide comprehensive, reliable, and scalable solutions for the Teradata SQL Engine (i.e. Teradata Database) for our supported public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). This includes:
- SQLE image creation and validation for our supported public cloud platforms.
- Common/public SQLE Microservice for provisioning and runtime operations related to SQLE.
- In-site SQLE services for cloud runtime operations (e.g. scaling, node failure recovery, configuration).
- On-node SQLE services and tools for cloud runtime operations.
- Develop scalable solutions of low/medium complexity on multi-cloud.
- Automate application provisioning, system upgrades and database scale operations.
- Using professional software engineering practices and best practices for full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing, and operations.
- Evaluate new technologies, open-source libraries, cloud native services and define long term strategic investments and feature roadmaps.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- Must be enrolled in BS/MS/PhD degree program. With graduation dates between December 2024-June 2026.
