Job Roles
- Communicate with hiring managers in getting a clear view and understanding of the specialized or technical experience required to function successfully in the work.
- Source potential candidates for hire through a variety of methods through networking, various social media platforms, connections with professional associations across the specialized and technical spectrums, to ensure attracting the best possible candidates.
- Create job postings to place on various online and offline resources that are articulate, professional and attention-grabbing to attract high quality candidates.
- Assess skills, knowledge and abilities of the job applicant in aligning with FHCSD specific job requirements.
- Communicate with selected job applicants in discussing specialized or technical skills, knowledge and abilities in determining suitability for a potential interview with the hiring manager.
- Serve as the liaison between FHCSD and potential job applicants related to questions and job details before and after interviews with hiring manager.
- Is the point-of-contact in recommending hiring rates, making job offers to potential candidates, developing offer letters, and finalizing hiring details for the job applicant.
- Appropriately document the entire recruitment process to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory employment guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Certifications/Licenses/Registrations
- GED or High School diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field highly preferred.
- Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County, to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Licensed for a minimum of 3 years; No more than 2 violations and/or accidents within 3 years; No vehicle related suspensions/reinstatements; No DUI, reckless or felony Driving within 7 years.
Experience/Specialized skills (including Language)
- 2 - 3 years of experience in corporate or agency recruiting in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Workday Skills preferred
- Knowledge of the full lifecycle recruiting components to include sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, wage and salary trends, and relationship management.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills to manage a variety of variables that arise during the recruitment process.
- Possess critical thinking skills in solving problems with the ability to develop alternative approaches.
- Possess knowledge and ability to analyze specialized and technical skills of a job applicant during screening, and referral process.
- Possess positive, high-touch and service-oriented approach in providing customer service.
- Knowledge of automated applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems in managing employee information and data.
- Proficient in the suite of Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to work with a diverse array of social, cultural and economic groups.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with employees, coworkers, and departments.

64,480.00 - 85,973.33If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
